DESCRIPTION:HEALTH & SAFETY: BEYOND THE BASICS \nThis is a hands-on course that Union Representatives and Health and Safety representatives will find invaluable in the work they do on behalf of our members. Participants discuss the causes and solutions to the hazardous working conditions workers face in the workplace. Participants learn about regulations and legislation required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. \nThis course will also introduce you to accident investigation methods. It presents a practical approach to investigating workplace accidents by emphasizing how to find the root cause(s)\, conduct an investigation\, and make effective recommendations to prevent similar occurrences from happening again.
